From April to June, TGGA conducted impactful activities aligned with its mission to empower girls and young women. These included confidence-building and self-reliance training, participation in Menstrual Hygiene Management Week and World Environmental Week, and capacity-building for volunteers and staff. The quarter concluded with an Extraordinary General Meeting of TGGA Leaders.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our Board members, working committees, Guide leaders, and volunteers for their dedication and contributions. Your efforts continue to drive positive change and inspire us all. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of girls and young women across Tanzania.

Welcome to our first quarterly newsletter of 2024! This issue highlights our achievements and progress from January to March, emphasizing the impact of guiding training and programs in shaping the future of girls and young women.

It becomes a beautiful world when there are people who want to develop and lead others, and it is even more beautiful when there are people willing to share the gift of their time and skills to mentor future leaders; “this is purely girl guiding spirit”. we want to express our gratitude to each and every one of you, for your efforts in making the quarterly planned activities a success. Connections create success! We believe that through these newsletters, all our girl guides shall strive to be visible and connect with our stakeholders; hoping that this will impact our programs with tremendous positivity and will help to reach our goal of getting to touch the lives of every girl.

TGGA is implementing, training and campaigns conducted for members and leaders, without forgetting hosting the 13th WAGGGS Africa Regional Conference which gave a lot of TGGA young leaders a whole new experience and exposure. And we can’t think of any better way to showcase all these activities than through a newsletter such as this whereby our activities and achievements of the last quarter are well explained and elaborated upon. we hope you enjoy reading about our recent activities and gain inspiration from the amazing work our members and leaders are doing at both the national and international levels too.
